CommandCenter

CommandCenter is an open source utility to edit and run shell commands from a GUI (requires root).

CommandCenter comes with a predefined set of convenient commands like dumping dmesg and logcat to your /sdcard but can be extended to run any command you'd like.

History

  • 2010-04-11 v0.8.0: option to handle commands broadcasted from other apps

Syntax

  • Favorite: a flag used for filtering (see preferences)
  • Name: the display name
  • Command: the command to executed (??' can be if the command as a value picker. In that case Command values must be defined) * Command values (optional): a | separated list of entries in the format <value>{:<label>}'' will pop up a picker to select a value when running the command
  • Status (optional): a command that will be executed to retrieve a status for the command
  • Regex (optional): a match expression against *Status* to determine an on/off state
  • Enable match (optional): flag to enable/disable the command when Regex matches the result of Status
